PLEASE PRAY for Florida as they recover from devastating damage caused by Hurricane Michael. For islands in the Pacific who have suffered major earthquakes this week. For other areas experiencing devastating disasters. ‘…There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains’. Mark 13.8

READ THE GOOD NEWS – Mark 10.17-31
Let us not be mistaken by thinking that God does not want us to succeed or have nice things. Regardless of whether we are ‘rich’ or ‘poor’, whatever we have on this earth, we should all be willing to sacrifice everything to follow Jesus and live a life for Him and with Him. ‘Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow You!”

Please note: The Service at St James’ will have a slight difference on the 21st October. We will be celebrating Morning Worship with Reflections. The Theme will be ‘God’s Story – Our Story’ and we are fortunate to have a Guest Speaker, Jacqui Hance, who will share her personal story with us.
